Online courses for the Master of Education in secondary education
You’ll take a variety of courses to prepare you to educate children in grades 6-12. This includes a series of educator scholar community courses designed to enhance your teaching strategies with new skills and abilities in your areas of interest as an educator. You’ll also complete a final applied research project in which you’ll have the opportunity to evaluate and identify an education challenge and design an intervention within the classroom.
Additionally, you’ll select a subject area and take a related methods course. Approved subject areas include American Government and political science, biological science, chemistry, Earth and space sciences, economics, English, French, general science, geography, history, mathematics, physical education, physics and Spanish.

Applicants must fulfill the requirements of both the Graduate College and the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College.
