Can I be an undecided student at ASU Online?
Deciding on a major is a big decision for college students. Not sure which one is right for you, but want to enroll at ASU Online? You can enroll as an undecided student and start your academic journey on one of four exploratory tracks. Each exploratory track focuses on a general academic theme and is composed of a three-semester major map, culminating in the declaration of a major no later than after the completion of 45 credit hours.

Why ASU Online is right for you as an undecided student
ASU Online offers undecided students the opportunity to begin their academic journey on one of four exploratory tracks. These three-semester tracks focus on one of four general themes:
- Health and life sciences.
- Humanities, fine arts and design.
- Math, physical sciences, engineering and technology.
- Social and behavioral sciences.
Undecided students also receive services personalized to their unique needs. This includes career and major exploration events and workshops, personalized academic advising and assistance with staying on track to a timely graduation.
