Who are first-year students at ASU?

First-year students at ASU are students who have never attended college before or have less than 12 transferable credit hours, and have a high school diploma or GED. First-year students are new college students pursuing an undergraduate degree.

Arizona State University offers more than 140 online bachelor’s degrees, giving you the option to study the major you want while getting the support you need from our premier suite of support services.

You’ll have the ability to virtually connect with professors and peers alike and gain hands-on experience in online labs and capstone courses, giving you nearly the same ASU first-year experience as in-person students.
