Is an online degree worth it?

Which professors teach the online courses?

The same professors teaching on ASU’s campuses teach our online courses. They’re also using the same curriculum, which means you’re getting the same education as an in-person student.

How do ASU Online classes work? Can I balance taking classes and working?

Online learning is built to fit your life. Most ASU Online courses are 100% asynchronous, so you decide when and where to study. You’ll still have weekly deadlines to help you stay on track, but you can plan your coursework around your job, family or personal time. Classes last 6 to 7.5 weeks, which gives you the flexibility to focus on fewer subjects at a time and make steady progress towards your degree. A typical 3-credit class takes around 18 hours a week, which you can spread across mornings, evenings or weekends to fit your schedule.

Will I get lonely taking courses online?

At ASU, you’ll be online, but never alone. There are many ways to build your personal network and community, from a rich online student community of clubs and groups, to your professors and a helpful network of support coaches and resources .

Can I get real-world experience while earning my degree online?
