Tuition Assistance is a Department of Defense program. The program is not administered or monitored by the VA. Questions regarding Tuition Assistance and information on obtaining application forms should be directed to the military student's unit education service officer. For further information on steps to use Tuition Assistance, please visit: Tuition Assistance.
To use TA, submit your approved TA voucher to the ASU Student Accounts office either by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by fax at 480-965-9242. Please make sure your military branch approves your TA by the first day of class to avoid financial repercussions.
Note that once your voucher is received, a $75 third-party billing fee will be added to your student account. Learn about the third party sponsor billing fee here.

Review GI Bill® benefits
New students who have not used VA GI Bill® benefits at any institution of higher education in the past may apply for benefits. Please complete the appropriate VA application and submit along with the required supporting documentation directly to VA using VONAPP at benefits.va.gov/gibill. You may also complete and submit the appropriate VA application and supporting documents by mail to:

Review transfer requirements
For students who are transferring to ASU from another college or university where they have already used VA educational benefits, please fax your Certificate of Eligibility with the following forms to 480-965-8198. If you do not have your COE on hand, please call the VA regional office at 800-827-1000 and request a new one.
Review spouse/dependent benefits
GI Bill® Transferability: Learn about transferring your spouse's or dependent's Post-9/11 GI Bill® education benefits at Post-9/11 GI Bill® education benefits.
Transferring benefits is a two-step process. The transferer applies with the Department of Defense to transfer the benefits. When the transfer is approved, the transferee applies with the VA for transferred benefits using the VONAPP process.
