In this AACSB-accredited program, you’ll build advanced knowledge in accounting and auditing, with an additional focus on data analytics. Through your coursework, you’ll also gain proficiency in the technologies and methodologies used in audits.

Additionally, you’ll expand your critical thinking and analytical skills when you explore topics such as statistics and coding for accounting analytics, performance measurement and more. With a foundational understanding of accounting and data analytics, you’ll be prepared to address the financial implications of business decisions in any industry.

Enhance your learning experience with synchronous courses

This program is designed with lecture- and case-study-based learning opportunities and emphasizes practical application through projects. Every course will consist of live, virtual participation for at least 50% of the time, creating opportunities for you to interact with faculty and your peers.

When applying to this program, you should ensure you have the time needed to attend virtual sessions at designated meeting times. If you choose the one-year program, you’ll have live course sessions twice a week. If you select the two-year option, you’ll attend one live session a week. Outside of scheduled sessions, you can complete course activities on your own time.

Does this MACC fulfill CPA requirements?

This program prepares you to sit for the CPA exam. As a student, you’ll also have access to Becker CPA review materials during and following your program. However, CPA requirements vary by state, and some states may require more than completing a graduate degree in accounting for licensure. For more information on the CPA eligibility requirements in your state, please contact the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA).
