Details

The online nurse education certificate is ideal for experienced health care professionals. Our program prepares master's level registered nurses or doctoral students to become certified nurse educators. As a student, you’ll receive training on how to educate future nurses in academia or for nursing staff development.

Our certificate is a non-degree, 15-credit-hour program offered to full- or part-time students. The program complements master’s and doctorate degrees in nursing and advanced nursing practice. Students enrolled in a Doctor of Philosophy or Doctor of Nursing Practice program can take the certificate courses as electives.

The curriculum comes from our master’s degree in nursing education, which is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education by the American Academy of Colleges of Nursing.
