Does this program lead to PMI certification?

No. This certificate doesn’t lead directly to Project Management Institute (PMI) certification. However, upon completion, you’ll be eligible to sit for PMI’s Certified Associate Project Manager (CAPM) exam. If you want to pursue the Project Management Professional (PMP) certification, you must pass the exam as well as meet the requirements for education and work experience.

Additionally, you can earn the Green Project Management - Business (GPM-B) certification through Green Project Management. When you complete the Sustainability in Project Management course, you’ll receive a code that covers the cost of the exam, good for a one-time use for up to one year. You must pass the test to earn the credential.

Professional licensure and certification

ASU academic programs are designed to prepare students to apply for applicable licensure or certification in Arizona. Completion of an ASU program may not meet education requirements for license or certification in another state.
