My educational journey has included an associate’s degree in social sciences, various internships, and work-related experiences. What inspired me to return to higher education after eight years away was an understanding of self-discovery and a reevaluation of my goals and vision in life. I soon realized that if I wanted to achieve my life goals and accomplish my purpose, I would have to return to higher education for my bachelor’s degree.

Based on the research that I have done looking for universities, ASU Online caught my attention as the most organized and clear in how it presented information on its website. ASU Online is set apart from other colleges and universities in that they offer scholarships, corporate tuition programs, success coaches, and online tutoring. ASU Online also has teams set up that are available to help students achieve academic success. I have benefited from all of these offerings, and I even received a scholarship through Uber.

I believe that people should earn a degree at ASU Online because ASU Online has the best professors and programs for people that are interested in going further in their educational journey. Based on my experience, my professors are willing to help students grow and fulfill their passion in their areas of interest. The ASU Online learning platform, Canvas, is also very organized and easy to use. All of this motivated me to apply to ASU Online and has helped me on my path to a new degree.
