My decision to enroll at ASU Online took into account many factors. I knew that I needed a program that allowed me to be financially independent without my grades suffering as well as time for my social and personal life. I wanted to be able to work more hours so I could stop relying on my parents so much, which they definitely appreciated.
Two of my biggest financial goals for this year are to go on a cross-country road trip when my boyfriend gets out of the Marine Corps and purchase a new (used) car. ASU Online allows me to work my school schedule in with my new full-time work schedule, instead of finding a job that has to work around my school schedule. Because of this, I was able to find a full-time job, which will help me reach my financial goals much sooner!
Another one of my goals is to make the Dean’s List. While I regularly receive good grades, I haven't quite been able to hit that mark. It’s huge motivating factor when deciding between watching Netflix or working on a paper that’s due next week.
2017 is going to be a big year for me with a lot of changes happening. While it’s going to be a little stressful for me, it will all be worth it when I’m graduating in December and taking another big step in my life with new goals to reach.

Fun fact about Jacks:
If I had a time machine, I would travel to the 1920’s here in America! It was such a happy time in our history, I would love to just experience it for a day.
