Business Administration (MBA)

The W. P. Carey School of Business offers an online Master of Business Administration program for students interested in pursuing leadership opportunities. Stephen Taylor, Assistant Dean of Graduate Programs for the W. P. Carey School of Business, explains that the online MBA program continues the tradition of educating professionals on a wide variety of business disciplines as well as specific functional areas. The program structure leverages case studies to deeply engage students with the kinds of problem solving that exist in complex organizations from the perspective of a manger.

Taylor notes that the MBA is, “designed to be a high-impact, career building experience that comes from a strong sense of community, high academic rigor and dedicated advising and career staff.” 

Business Administration (MBA) / Engineering - Electrical Engineering (MSE)

The W. P. Carey School of Business and the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering offer a concurrent Master of Business Administration/Master of Science in Engineering - Electrical Engineering degree. Students in the program take classes in both disciplines, spanning management as well as electrical engineering courses. The majority of enrolled students are already working professionals who are interested in updating their skills in these areas or expanding their knowledge of either management or electrical engineering. 

The nature of the concurrent degree means students will take more classes than the traditional MBA or MSE-EE degrees alone. However, the benefits include a reduced cost for completing two programs at once and a faster completion time. 

Business Administration (MBA) / Industrial Engineering (MS)

The W. P. Carey School of Business and the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering offer a concurrent Master of Business Administration/Master of Science in Industrial Engineering degree. Students in this program take classes in both disciplines, spanning management as well as technical engineering courses. Many of the enrolled students are already working in a professional capacity and are looking for updated skills and expertise in these areas or an expanded knowledge of either management or engineering.
