Several Arizona State University graduate programs received a national ranking in the latest list released by U.S. News & World Report. Among the top national programs was the Mary Lou Fulton Teachers College, which was listed as number 11 out of the 256 schools evaluated by the magazine, moving up 24 spots since being featured on the “best Graduate Schools” list in 2012.
ASU’s supply-chain management program in the W.P Carey School of Business was ranked as third in the nation, a spot above Stanford University. Out of 129 schools, ASU’s MBA program improved by ten spots, ranking 25th in the nation. Out of the top 25 MBA programs in the nation, ASU received the fourth place ranking for post-graduate employment, with 95.1% of their graduates finding work within three months.
“This ranking confirms the quality of our full-time MBA, but it also reinforces the access to a great education we’re providing with our Forward Focus curriculum and scholarship,” W.P. Carey School dean Amy Hillman explained.
ASU’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law maintained its ranking at 25th place, out of 197 schools evaluated by the magazine. ASU’s law school also ranks as the 8th highest public university program in the nation, with spots ahead of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Ohio State University.
Although the magazine did not rank fine arts or public affairs programs this year, several ASU programs were included in last year’s rankings. On the public affairs end, the College of Public Service and Community Solutions was ranked 13th, while its city management program was ranked 4th in the nation. Among fine arts, the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts were ranked 20th, while the print-making program received the 5th national ranking. In 2016, ASU was named as the most innovative university for the second year in a row.
