    First-year applicants must meet at least one of the following:

    • Top 25% in high school graduating class.
    • 3.00 GPA in competency courses (4.00 = A).
    • ACT score of 22 for Arizona residents or 24 for nonresidents, or SAT Reasoning score of 1120 for Arizona residents or 1180 for nonresidents (Writing portion is not required).

    *Some majors have higher admission requirements.

  2. Meet your enrollment coach

    Your enrollment coach will discuss your goals and ensure you find the right program. Your coach will also guide you through the application and enrollment process.

  3. Apply to ASU Online

    Complete the online application and send in your transcripts. After applying:

    • Submit your FAFSA to determine your financial aid eligibility.
    • Receive an admission decision 2–6 weeks after completion.
  4. Register for classes

    Your enrollment coach can guide you on how to pay for college and prepare for success. Your academic advisor can assist you with signing up for classes and will help ensure you stay on track for graduation.

  5. Complete orientation

    Work with your academic advisor to complete the orientation, starter kit or ASU 101 course.

  6. Welcome to ASU

    Your success coach will assist you on your academic journey with resources, networking opportunities and overall support.
