No, Arizona State University’s diplomas don’t specify whether you earn your degree online or in person. All diplomas and transcripts simply say “Arizona State University.”
Elementary education courses, student teaching and clinical placements
The curriculum covers literacy instruction, K-8 mathematics teaching, science and social studies methods, child development, inclusive classroom practice and assessment-informed teaching. Courses in structured literacy and the science of reading meet Arizona state expectations for reading instruction. Throughout the program, clinically embedded courses connect your coursework directly to supervised time in real K-8 classrooms, building your teaching skills step by step before your final student teaching semester.

You can still gain general admission to most online programs at ASU through Earned Admission. Through this pathway, you can demonstrate your ability to succeed at ASU by completing online courses with a 2.75 GPA or higher.
