What is a BA in chemistry?
This Bachelor of Arts in chemistry degree online provides a foundation of knowledge for a variety of career paths such as forensics, environmental sciences, teaching and more. This liberal arts degree grounded in physical science complements a number of other interests and can be a good option for students who may be looking to earn an additional degree.
For example, chemistry can be combined with law for patent work, with economics for sales and marketing careers, and with computer science for careers in bioinformatics and computational chemistry.
Students looking to pursue a scientific research career should consider the BS in biochemistry instead. Those looking to pursue a career in health care should consider the BS in medicinal chemistry.
