This online health care certificate is designed to help you address gaps in the health care system and ultimately improve patient care. You’ll take required courses covering health care economics and policy, health care systems and population health. You’ll then take additional classes in a chosen focus area that relates to your career goals. You’ll select one of the following tracks as a focus area:

  • Clinical informatics.
  • Leadership.
  • Quality and process improvement.

If you choose to follow the process improvement track, you’ll study the Six Sigma Green Belt curriculum, earning the opportunity to take the certification exam. Also, all 15 credits of this certificate can be applied to our online Master of Science in science of health care delivery program, if you later desire to complete the full degree.
