How often can these scholarships be renewed?

Eligible first-year students can renew an ASU scholarship for up to 8 semesters. Eligible students transferring credits to ASU, continuing their degree, or re-entering after a pause can renew these scholarships for up to 6 semesters.

For all scholarships, you’ll need to meet all Satisfactory Academic Progress standards, including maintaining a minimum 2.00 ASU cumulative GPA.

Can these scholarships be used with other financial aid?

Yes, these scholarships are applied after all other financial aid — including grants and other scholarships — has been counted toward your tuition. This is sometimes called a last-dollar scholarship.

A few exceptions apply:

  • If your employer covers tuition through an ASU partner benefit, such as Starbucks, you are not eligible to combine these scholarships while receiving those benefits.
  • International, ASU Local and military students are also not eligible.
