The newly announced adidas/ASU Digital Education Partnership will provide scholarships to ASU Online for 100 adidas employees, granting them access to a world-class education from the nation’s most innovative university and underpinning adidas’ goal to be “the best place to work.”
The partnership is being maintained by EdPlus at ASU, the digital arm at the university which oversees ASU Online. Ranked in the top 5 by U.S. News & World Report for Best Online Programs, ASU Online currently offers more than 150 fully-online degree and certification programs at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
“From [adidas’] standpoint, it not only achieves their mission of social purpose but of investing in their workforce, in the people who make them successful. For [ASU], it allows us to deliver on our charter and make people successful,” said Jeffrey Angle, executive director of marketing and relationships at EdPlus, ASU's division for advancing global education and technology.
The Digital Education Partnership will begin providing scholarships to adidas employees in January 2018, with hopes to expand the program internationally over the next three years.
