Welcome to Arizona State University's online course demo. Many students are interested in taking online courses for the scheduling flexibility and convenience. But few know what to anticipate from an online course.

Online courses vary in structure based on the subject matter. Several things are constant with online courses. Instructor have a syllabus that details what is required for the online course and most courses use the myASU/Blackboard system. There is also technical support available if you need further assistance.

Some myths about online courses are that they're: easier, self-paced, and open entry. Actually, online courses are no easier than face-to-face courses and they follow the same semester schedule.
