ASU recognizes that many students are not ready to choose a specific academic program of study when first entering the university. Allowing students to declare exploratory status permits them to begin meeting General Studies requirements as well as affords them some time to explore a variety of academic courses that may lead to a potential major interest.

Submissions during regular business hours (9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., MST) will be followed immediately by an email and phone call from an ASU Enrollment Coach.
The exploratory health and life sciences track gives students the opportunity to explore a variety of majors related to the health and life science professions. All College of Letters and Sciences exploratory students are required to enroll in the following major and career exploration courses, which must be taken sequentially:
