The Educational Technology program prepares learning design and technology professionals to design, develop, and evaluate learning structures in a variety of formal and informal educational settings including business and industry. The Master of Education program in educational technology emphasizes grounded instructional strategies rooted in established theories of learning, design and development of competency-based instructional materials, and application and evaluation in applied settings. Through projects that provide opportunities to take on authentic, real-world challenges, students apply current research and learning theories to the practice of learning and instructional design, together with the use of emerging technologies.
